I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hostal Vall D'Aneu in the beautiful Catalan Pyrenees with a colleague, and it was simply wonderful! The cozy atmosphere created by the friendly couple managing the hostal made us feel right at home. Not only did we enjoy the delicious local cuisine at the charming on-site restaurant, but having a drink on the terrace with views of the garden was a fantastic way to unwind after a day of hiking. The complimentary continental breakfast each morning was a delightful treat, featuring freshly pressed juices that set the tone for our outdoor adventures ahead. With ski-in/ski-out access, it's an ideal spot for a winter getaway as well. I highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a mix of relaxation and adventure!
